“Who Jah Bless No Man Can Curse”

The work was created as a visual meditation on divine protection and the sacred bond between African people and Mother Earth. The work speaks in symbols and specifically draws from an inherited and ancestral awareness to affirm that what is ordained by a higher power cannot be undone by human forces. At its core, the piece honors African unification, not only across the globe, but across time, spirit, and consciousness. The intention was the emphasis of an alignment with ancestral truth and natural law itself being that blessing. It is a declaration of oneness and the enduring power of divine favor over one’s opposition.
