The Afar

A portrait of a man of the Afar Tribe wearing one of their traditional hairstyles known as Dayta. A piece to represent the diverse and fruitful heritage that can come out of Africa. A great deal of the world is fairly unaware of the level of diversity that comes from the continent. The sculpture's purpose is to inspire a broader outlook of the world while shedding light on the fact that there are such a vast amount of phenotypes that are associated with Africa.
